September 2016, The Colombo China Business Association (AECC) was founded in the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Colombia in Bogota by 24 distinguished Chinese companies.
The Asociación Empresarial Colombo China (AECC) is a non-profit organization, with the objective of promoting and generating commercial, industrial and investment ties between Chinese and Colombian companies.
AECC is dedicated to guiding and promoting the establishment and opening of the market of both countries for binational companies; as well as, support and cooperate with affiliates so that they can exercise their correct role before the different governmental institutions, private sector companies, organizations and other entities with which they are interested in promoting, developing and strengthening links commercial and industrial.
To be recognized as a leader and reference entity that guides the Colombo-Chinas binational companies and supports its affiliates before the different public and private organizations in order to strengthen their commercial and industrial ties.
